The weather was less than clement throughout the walk but, despite the mud underfoot, it was a very pleasant stroll (despite the frequent hills!). Anyone who I have ever spoken to will know I am not an advocate of London, but there is something quite special about exploring the greener areas on the edge of the capital. The route of the walk initially took me through Highgate Cemetery before heading up through Hampstead Heath, past Kenwood House and then going on a jaunt around the literary highlights (Keats House) before taking cover in one of Hampstead's many coffee shops as the skies opened... just in time!
