A stunning 20 mile walk through the rolling Buckinghamshire countryside taking in breathtaking views across the Chiltern Hills and beautiful wooded areas. The sun was late in joining us on the walk and there was even a little rain as we stopped in The Gate Inn at Bryant's Bottom! The walk broke down into two main stages: 15km from Princes Risborough to Great Missenden and then 17km from Great Missenden to Amersham (which was completed solo). There was even a game of cricket in full swing at Penn when I stopped for a quick beverage at the Hit and Miss pub!
